websites on the Net, allowing people all over the world to share their

Archives Hub
The Archives Hub is a project that aims to make descriptions of archives
held in UK universities and colleges available all over the
Internet. The records include the archives of universities
themselves and the research papers of their staff, records relating to the
local history of the area around the institution, and collections of
national and international significance.

Archives in Focus
This is a new education and lifelong learning website maintained by the
Royal Commission on Historical Manuscripts (HMC). It gives an
introduction to archives in the UK and advice on getting started with
various topics of research.

Access to Archives
The A2A website is a resource, which will provide free access to 8,000,000
catalogue entries for archives dating from the twelfth to the twentieth
centuries and held in national, local and specialist archives via the A2A
site in March 2002. The A2A programme is led by the British Library,
the Historical Manuscripts Commission and the Public Record Office.
