Adele Webb, who recently joined the Almonry Heritage Centre as tourist information and heritage centre assistant, suffered ritual humiliation at the hands of the Evesham admag.  The following article appeared in the admag of February 25th 2005.
 

 

 

Where were you born?

"llford, Essex".

 

What was your first job?

"A teacher in Chelmsford".

 

What is your favourite TV show and

why?

"Treasure Hunt with Anneka Rice because there is a feeling of discovery and solving clues. I think the show relates to my job of

solving the clues and piecing the clues together".

 

What is your favourite film and why?

"'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone', because I think it has opened up doors for adults and children through the power of fiction".

 

What is your favourite meal?

"Turkish food".

 

What is your idea of a great night out?

"Going to the theatre".

 

 

What makes you mad?

"Rudeness. People being rude is not necessary".

 

Which famous person, alive or dead, would you like to be shipwrecked with?

"Nostradamus. Back in the Middle Ages he was known for his predictions.    Some of his predictions have come true today

such as the tragedy of the twin towers",

 

What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?

"If you keep talking to people and keep the communication channels open most problems can be resolved".

 

If you were Prime Minister for the day what new law would you introduce?

"I would alter the funding for university places.  I would get rid of tuition fees".

 

What would you spend a million pounds on?

"Holiday homes in different parts of the world".
